Sharjah24: In partnership with the Social Services Department, the Sharjah Public Works Department took part in the "Khattar Al Dar" initiative, which fosters meaningful interactions with elderly residents at the Senior Care Home during Ramadan.
A delegation from the department visited the home before iftar, spending time conversing with the residents before sharing a meal together. The team, comprising several employees, wrapped up the visit by presenting thoughtful gifts, wishing the seniors good health and happiness.

The delegation commended the home for its dedication to providing holistic care, including medical, social, psychological, and spiritual support. They emphasised the initiative’s role in uplifting both residents and volunteers, fostering a strong sense of community.
