SDPW implements developing buildings overlooking Kalba Lake

Sharjah 24: Engineer Abdullah Juma bin Shamlan Al Tunaiji, who is the Director of the Branches Department at the Sharjah Department of Public Works, announced that they have completed the first phase of a project to develop government buildings by Kalba Lake. This project is designed in a way that reflects the traditional architecture of Kalba and aims to improve the work environment for employees while offering convenient facilities for everyone in the community.

Engineer Abdullah Juma bin Shamlan Al Tunaiji, who is in charge of the Branches Department at the Department of Public Works, announced that they have completed the first stage of a project aimed at improving government buildings near Kalba Lake. This project involves several important facilities, including the Royal Court in Kalba, the Department of Culture, the local court and prosecution office, the Department of Public Works, the Department of Town Planning and Survey, the Roads and Transport Authority, the Department of Housing, the Sharjah Ladies Club in Kalba, and the Kalba Youth Center.

In a recent interview with “Sharjah 24,” Al Tunaiji shared exciting news about a new project aimed at enhancing the appearance of government buildings near Kalba Lake. This initiative is part of a vision set by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Ruler of Sharjah. The goal is to ensure that these buildings have a unified look that reflects the unique style of Kalba. Al Tunaiji also mentioned that this project will help create a better working environment for employees and make the area more welcoming for everyone in the community.

He announced the start of the second phase of a project that includes several important buildings in Kalba. These are the Kalba Municipality building, the local branch of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Department of Human Resources, the Real Estate Registration Department, and the Al Sharqiya Canal building. This phase of the project is expected to be finished next year.
