Sharjah24: Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) , in collaboration with Sharjah Department of Public Works (SDPW), organised a specialised workshop focused on improving the efficiency of maintenance operations in sports clubs across the emirate. The initiative is part of the Council's ongoing efforts to strengthen infrastructure and enhance facilities.
The workshop brought together maintenance officials from various clubs, alongside representatives from the Council’s Sports Facilities Monitoring Department, including Engineer Asmaa Al Baloushi (Head of Department), Engineer Mona Al Shamsi, and Engineer Fatima Ahmed bin Masoud.

Held under the "Maintenance Pioneers" project and supervised by SDPW , the session—delivered by a department trainer—featured a presentation on the newly updated operational maintenance system, recently approved by the Department. Discussions covered procedures for improving maintenance processes, both technical and administrative, methods for logging and tracking technical reports, and how to use the dedicated mobile application for submitting maintenance requests.

The workshop aimed to keep pace with technical developments and ensure a comprehensive sports environment that aligns with the advanced capabilities of Sharjah’s clubs. It also underscored the importance of inter-agency collaboration to implement maintenance operations at the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Participants expressed their gratitude to the Sharjah Sports Council and SDPW for organising the valuable session, which featured productive contributions from all attendees.
