SDPW releases 11th issue of “Omran” magazine

Sharjah24: Sharjah Department of Public Works (SDPW) recently released the 11th issue of its quarterly magazine Omran continuing its focus on key architectural and planning topics. The issue features a mix of specialised studies, field investigations, and interviews with leaders in the engineering sector.

Main Feature Highlight

The lead feature documents the SDPW’s most notable achievements over the past 25 years. It also includes a reading of the book “Mecca Before Islam” by the Ruler of Sharjah, detailed reports on the “Omran Protocol,” and informative segments like “Did You Know?” that offer valuable engineering and general knowledge.

Memory Lane Section

Readers are taken back to the emirate’s past through the “From Sharjah’s Memory” segment covering the history of Khorfakkan, and “From the Public Works Archives” showcasing rare photos of fieldwork. An interactive Q&A section allows staff to ask questions and receive expert answers.
