Sharjah24: Sharjah Police is actively engaging in over 14 awareness initiatives, workshops, and a variety of entertainment shows at the "Dawahi 13" Festival to enhance security awareness among future generations.
The Department of Suburb Affairs is organising the event, which starts today Al Qarayen Park 4 and lasts until December 31.
Sharjah Police announced that their involvement is a key aspect of their community engagement approach. The police booth will showcase engaging presentations and workshops aimed at enhancing security awareness, fostering intellectual growth, encouraging positive behaviour, instilling national pride, and upholding traditional Emirati values. Different specialist departments in the force will take charge of these activities.
The festival will feature seminars and workshops focused on road safety, drug prevention, cybersecurity, and first aid, as well as police dog demonstrations showcasing their essential role in law enforcement.
The Sharjah Police Military Band from the Sharjah Police Science Academy will perform national and traditional music, enhancing the cultural experience for visitors.
