Sharjah 24: Sharjah Police and the Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at enhancing joint cooperation in cultural, knowledge and linguistic fields, and exchanging expertise, in support of shared goals and priorities.

The signing ceremony was attended by Brigadier Faisal bin Nassar, Director General of the General Department of Community Protection and Prevention, and Dr Amhamed Safi Al-Mustghanemi, Secretary- General of the Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah, along with a number of officials and representatives from both sides.

The memorandum comes as part of Sharjah Police’s commitment to expanding its strategic partnerships with leading academic institutions, in a way that strengthens the status of the Arabic language and supports joint initiatives in linguistic fields.

Both sides affirmed that the MoU represents a new step towards building sustainable cooperation that contributes to implementing high-quality programmes and initiatives, and to exchanging expertise and knowledge, serving the community and aligning with the Emirate of Sharjah’s vision to support culture and the Arabic language and promote knowledge development.
