Members looked at a series of ongoing initiatives aimed at improving day-to-day police work and raising the standard of services provided to the public.
They also reviewed operational plans intended to support community safety and strengthen the wider security system in the emirate.
Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer stressed the importance of closer coordination between departments and with external partners, saying this approach helps keep work aligned and responsive.
He also cited the increasing use of artificial intelligence and other technologies in policing, saying they are helping to support faster and more effective operations.
He added that continued development across the organisation is essential to maintaining readiness and keeping pace with future demands.
