The initiative targets workers across various cities and areas of the emirate with the aim of strengthening awareness about the importance of safeguarding personal belongings and money and promoting preventive behaviours that help reduce incidents of loss, theft, and negligence.
The campaign forms part of Sharjah Police’s broader efforts to enhance preventative security and raise community awareness among all segments of society, particularly workers.
It delivers simple and direct educational messages designed to reinforce self-protection practices, encourage the safekeeping of personal possessions, and discourage leaving cash or valuable items in exposed or insecure places.
As part of the campaign, officers have been handing out simple, easy-to-follow leaflets setting out practical advice on everyday safety. The guidance encourages workers to keep cash and personal belongings in secure places, to be cautious about sharing personal or banking details with others, and to report anything unusual or suspicious through official police channels without delay.
Sharjah Police said the initiative reflects their continued focus on improving day-to-day safety and overall quality of life across the emirate. They added that raising awareness and encouraging simple preventive habits plays an important role in reducing avoidable incidents, while helping people feel more secure and reassured in their daily lives.
