'Healthy Cities Expansion Committee' to receive WHO delegation

Sharjah24: Dr. Abdulaziz Al Muhairi, the Chairman of the Sharjah Health Authority and the Executive Committee for the Expansion of Healthy Cities in Sharjah, announced that the working teams and coordination committees are fully prepared to kick off the first training workshop as part of the new expansion plan set for December 2024.
This workshop will be led by Dr. Samar Al Faqi, a World Health Organisation (WHO) Expert for the Eastern Mediterranean Region. Its goal is to enhance participants' knowledge and build capacity regarding the principles and core activities of the Global Healthy Cities Programme, empowering them to take on their roles as local coordinators of the initiative.
