Sharjah 24: His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Saeed Obaid bin Butti Al Muhairi, Chairman of the Sharjah Health Authority and Head of the Executive Committee for the Expansion of the Healthy Cities Programme in Sharjah, announced that the new programme logo was approved by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, during the committee’s fourth meeting at the Authority’s headquarters. The meeting included committee members from various Sharjah government institutions and departments.
Al Muhairi, in statements to "Sharjah 24," noted that the meeting also discussed the Sharjah Healthy Cities Network, established by the Sharjah Executive Council to serve as the primary umbrella for all cities in Sharjah participating in the programme, in accordance with directives from His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah.
The Chairman of the Sharjah Health Authority confirmed that the committee plans to hold a workshop in collaboration with the World Health Organization in December, aiming to enhance the skills and capacities of coordinators and team members on implementing the standards for expanding the Healthy Cities initiative.
