The main goal of the campaign was to raise awareness in the community about the importance of protecting construction sites from theft and improving their overall security.
The campaign was communicated in three languages: Arabic, English, and Urdu, and it specifically reached out to those who hold contracting licenses, engineering consulting firms, and property owners. In total, around 7,320 people from the construction sector benefited from this initiative, which helped increase their understanding of safety and protection measures needed at construction sites.
Sharjah Police expressed gratitude to all their partners who played an important role in making the campaign successful. They appreciated the support in spreading the message about safety in this crucial industry and emphasized that they will continue their efforts to educate people on how to prevent theft at construction sites.
The police also reminded building and facility owners, whether they are individuals or companies, to take security seriously during construction. This includes following safety guidelines to protect their property. They encouraged measures like installing security cameras, hiring security guards, setting up temporary barriers or fences, and ensuring that building materials are purchased through legitimate channels to avoid legal issues.
