The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, after which groom Ahmed Al Jasmi delivered a speech on behalf of the attendees.
He conveyed deep appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, for his generous support, and to Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi for his presence and for honouring the event. He remarked that this support would be a treasured memory for many years ahead.
Al Jasmi commended the work of Sharjah Charity International in assisting young men as they prepare for marriage and expressed gratitude to the sponsors and supporters who played a role in aiding the grooms both within the UAE and beyond.
He concluded by offering his congratulations to his fellow grooms, expressing his hopes for their happiness, stability, and success in creating families that play a role in the nation’s progress.
The attendees watched a video presentation that highlighted past mass weddings organised by the association, including ones that took place outside the UAE. A traditional folk troupe showcased a patriotic segment, honouring the occasion while highlighting the nation's cultural heritage and traditions.
Poet Musabbah bin Ali Al Kaabi also recited a poem commemorating the 10th mass wedding.
His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah honoured businessman Abdul Rahim Al Zarooni for his notable contributions to the event, and he took a group photo with the grooms, offering his congratulations to them and their families. He hoped for a future abundant in harmony, love, and mercy, along with virtuous descendants.
