Sharjah24: Al Hamriyah modern sailing team, represented by its Olympic player Adel Khalid, is participating in the 'Kingdom Fleet Match Race' championship hosted by the Bahrain Modern Sailing Club from December 10 to 14, 2024.
Adel Khalid's participation will mark the first for the Al Hamriyah modern sailing team in the 'Kingdom Fleet Match Race,' which is considered one of the oldest and most prominent sailing championships in the Middle East region.
The Olympic Al Hamriyah player expressed his happiness and pride in being the first to represent the 'The Oranges' team in this championship, affirming that he is well-prepared to enter the competition with the goal of reaching the podium and elevating the name of the club, the Emirate of Sharjah, and the country in the sport of sailing.
In a related context, Salem Al Khayyal, a member of the Al Hamriyah Club's Board of Directors and the head of the Individual Games and Talented Sponsorship Committee, expressed the club's pride in participating in the 22nd edition of the 'Kingdom Fleet Match Race' championship, wishing success to Adel Khalid and anticipating a positive contribution.
