This particular location, Najd Al Maqsar Village, was chosen for its charm and beauty. The village is perched on mountaintops and reflects the rich history of Khorfakkan, with historical sites that date back over 2,000 years. Visitors can explore beautifully restored homes made of mud and stone that are over a century old but have been transformed into modern, luxurious accommodations. Just a short walk away is the upper fort, which played a key role in defending the village around 300 years ago.
Dr. Al Dokhi expressed his appreciation for the amazing enthusiasm shown by everyone who took part in the event, highlighting how their involvement helped make it a success. He also extended his gratitude to the organizations that supported the event, including the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, Khorfakkan Municipality, Khorfakkan Police, Khorfakkan Sports and Cultural Club, and Bee’ah.
