Sharjah24: Mleiha Sports Club has achieved a notable milestone during its participation in the Sixth Apex Swimming Championship, organised by the UAE Swimming Federation and hosted by Al Wasl Club in Dubai. The competition witnessed strong rivalry among the participating clubs, with Mleiha swimmers securing a total of 19 medals, including 4 gold, 11 silver, and four bronze, thereby affirming their athletic excellence in this important event.
In a media statement, Hamad Tamim Al Ketbi, a board member of Mleiha Club and head of the Individual Sports Committee, expressed his immense happiness with this achievement, which reflects the significant efforts the club invests in supporting and developing the skills of athletes in individual sports, particularly swimming. Al Ketbi emphasised that these results are the outcome of proper planning and commitment from both the athletes and their technical and administrative teams, appreciating the club management's support and its commitment to providing an ideal sports environment for achieving these successes.
