The race categories consist of the men's and women's citizens' divisions, along with an open category for the main event, which spans 21.1 km. There are also additional distances of 5 km and 2.5 km available, with online registration offered.
The event commences at 6:30 am with the 21.1 km half-marathon, followed by the 10 km race 15 minutes later, and then the 5 km and 2.5 km runs. All participants will receive commemorative medals during the 8:30 am award ceremony.
Dr Yasser Omar Al-Dokhi, Director of the Sports and Community Events Department at the Sharjah Sports Council, emphasised the event as a celebration of athletes' happiness during Eid Al Etihad. He announced that winners across various categories will receive a total of AED 24,000 in prizes. The Eid Al Etihad logos, the event logo, and the emblem of the Sharjah Sports Council will adorn a unique shirt for participants. The commemorative medal, crafted to celebrate the occasion, features the UAE's national identity, Kalba’s iconic clock tower, and the council’s logo.
