Sharjah 24: Sharjah Football Club completed their training session this evening in preparation for their fourth-round ADNOC Pro League encounter against Al Batayeh, which is slated for Thursday, at Khalid bin Mohammed Stadium in Sharjah.
Sharjah enters the match hoping to keep its spotless record, having earned 9 points from three consecutive victories. They currently lead the league after beating Dibba Al Hisn 4-1 in the first round, Ittihad Kalba 1-0 in the second, and Al Jazira 4-0 in the third.
Al Batayeh, on the other hand, seeks to win for the second time in a row and achieve 7 points after defeating Dibba Al Hisn 2-1 in the previous round. They tied 3-3 with Al Ain in the second round but fell to Shabab Al Ahli in the first round.
Historically, Sharjah and Al Batayeh have met four times in the ADNOC Pro League, with Sharjah winning twice and the teams tying twice, while Al Batayeh has yet to defeat Sharjah.
