Sharjah24: As part of the preparatory program for the new season, the Sharjah Sports Council organized a table tennis preparatory tournament for the youth and junior teams at the Sharjah Sports Club in Al-Hazana, featuring four clubs: Sharjah, Al-Madam, Shabab Al-Ahli, and Abu Dhabi Racket Sports Club. The tournament included 40 players from various teams.
In the junior category, Sharjah Sports Club secured first place, followed by Abu Dhabi in second and Shabab Al-Ahli in third. In the youth category, Sharjah took first place, with Abu Dhabi in second and Al-Madam in third.
The awards ceremony, where trophies and medals were distributed, was attended by Jassim Al-Dokhi, Head of Individual Sports at the Sharjah Sports Council, Dr. Sherif Hamdi, Director of Sports Activities at Abu Dhabi Club, and Samir George, the sport specialist at the Sharjah Sports Council. The tournament was a significant success, contributing to the council's plans to prepare players for the new season and continue discovering exceptional talent across different age groups.
