The campaign was executed by specialists from the Public Health Department, who carried out comprehensive pest control operations.
Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality, affirmed that the municipality is committed to preserving the health standards in the Al Hamriyah area. As the 2024-2025 academic year begins, the municipality continues its environmental and preventive campaigns to ensure a healthy and safe educational environment for all students in the region's schools, supporting the smooth operation of the educational process.
Al Shamsi noted that with the upcoming start of the 2023-2024 academic year, as students return to school, the municipality’s specialised teams have initiated a comprehensive health and environmental campaign across all schools in the region. This effort, carried out in collaboration with school administrations, uses approved, student- and environmentally-safe pesticides recommended by the relevant authorities.
Al Shamsi highlighted that the municipality's teams are working together to prevent health-threatening pests using advanced control methods. These efforts align with the rapid developments in the field and Sharjah's health policies, ensuring high standards in environmental health and public safety.
He extended his congratulations to the administrative and teaching staff across Al Hamriyah as the new academic year approaches, wishing them a year filled with knowledge, education, and excellence.
