During the campaign, Al Hamriyah Municipality worked with the Sharjah Environment and Protected Areas Authority to organise an exhibition about coral reefs. This added an educational aspect to the campaign.
The Community Police of the Sharjah Police General Command held an event to promote water safety. They staged a play to highlight the importance of swimming safely and following beach rules. They also organized a seminar to explain the meaning of different warning colors at the beach, the dangers of sea currents, and how to stay safe. Additionally, they provided tips on rescuing someone from drowning in the sea or private swimming pools and gave guidance on administering first aid.
During the event, we had a session to learn about the importance of different warning colours, how to stay safe in ocean currents, and ways to help someone who is drowning. We also learned basic first-aid skills.
