Sharjah24: Participants in the sessions of the Sharjah Islamic Forum seminar praised the institution's experience and its qualitative project in the field of cultural preservation for the virtues of morality and its means of maintaining the integrity of beneficial relationships. This occurred within the framework of organising the scientific seminar of the forum titled "The Noble Virtues of Morality and Rejection of Disunity," held from June 4th to 5th in the forum theatre– Samnan Sharjah.
For decades, the forum has been dedicated to Islamic cultural work within the community, serving the sciences of the Holy Quran and the knowledge of the tolerant Sharia, while focusing on raising awareness of Islamic culture and the landmarks of Islamic civilisation. This is achieved through a diverse and rich agenda of activities and a number of specialised publications in Islamic culture, including a series of encyclopedias, journals, and programs advocating the adoption of noble prophetic morals. The seminar attracted wide participation in its first day's cultural sessions, which addressed topics related to the integration of ethics and worship in society.

The forum presents an inspiring model in fostering Islamic culture in Sharjah:
In this context, His Excellency Dr. Majed Bushleibi, the Secretary-General of the Islamic Forum, affirmed that the Cultural Ethics project represents an icon of the forum's agenda for cultural programs this year and serves as an inspiring model in promoting noble morals in building a cohesive society in all fields. It roots its connection with its rich cultural and moral heritage. The forum's cultural vision with integrated frameworks fosters comprehensive care for the virtues of character and calls for practicing noble ethics within a community characterised by principles and good values. This stems from the vast cultural heritage, clearly represented in the noble prophetic Sunnah in words and deeds. The forum adopts a cultural approach in its journey aiming to preserve and nurture noble morals in society.

Rich sessions on noble ethical standards:
The first session of the seminar focused on two main topics: "Repel [Evil] by that which is Better." Mr. Mohammed Saeed Fatan elaborated on the virtues of the people of excellence and their patience in responding to harm with kindness, enmity with forgiveness, and pushing towards what is better. He highlighted the immense reward and great status that only the patient and lofty individuals attain, a path that involves self-discipline, opposition to desire, and prioritizing the command of Allah to achieve His pleasure, and working in accordance with the example of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.

While the second session discussed the topic: "The Etiquette of Dispute and Argumentation," presented by Dr. Turki Hassan Al-Qahtani. He emphasised the importance of overcoming disputes and not drifting into those conflicts and arguments, as it is not from the noble ethics of prophethood. He also affirmed that it is an inevitable social phenomenon, discussed the virtues of tolerance and its importance in the gentle Islamic Sharia, and mentioned the main causes of disagreement and dispute, such as blameworthy envy and bias. He then discussed the impact of this on societies in rejecting discord, from failure and wasted efforts, and concluded with innovative methods in addressing disputes by returning to Allah and His Messenger and gradually increasing knowledge and fearing Allah by abandoning envy. The doctor concluded with a set of findings and recommendations.

Through its cultural efforts, the forum maintains the cohesion of the community and the integration of its members in functions and roles, preserving it through various awareness programmes and specialised initiatives, which it has dedicated for decades to preserve social cohesion. It has hosted numerous researchers and specialised experts from the Arab world, in addition to issuing a rich series of publications.
