Diverse and Inclusive Educational Offerings
This year’s programme stood out for its rich and diverse content, hosted across various mosques and centres. It aimed to reach broad segments of society and nurture a love for the Quran and its sciences. The ninth edition of “Light up your summer with the Quran” was open to the general public, including those not enrolled in regular Quran circles. An intensive summer course, also in its ninth round, was dedicated exclusively to the Foundation’s students to strengthen memorisation and revision.
Deepening Knowledge of Islamic Texts
The programme featured the fourth edition of the “Memorisation of Texts” course, focusing on classical Islamic literature such as the Al-Jazariyah poem and Tanbih al-Anam, demonstrating the Foundation’s commitment to embedding Islamic sciences into its curriculum.
Celebrating Student Achievement
The closing ceremony recognised 30 students for their dedication and excellence in completing the curriculum. Saleh Obaid Balleith Al Tunaiji highlighted the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to realise the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. This vision aims to cultivate Quranic values among youth and the broader community.
Investing in Future Generations
Al Tunaiji praised the programme’s role in refining student skills, broadening their Islamic knowledge, and fostering a strong connection to the Quran and Sunnah. He noted that this year’s edition provided a meaningful way to use summer vacation for intellectual and spiritual growth, helping to raise a generation proud of its identity and values.
