The General Department of Central Operations at the Sharjah Police (SP) Headquarters hosted an innovation lab this morning at the University of Sharjah with the aim of developing the customer experience with the contact centre (901) and improving operations in order to achieve customer satisfaction.
Brigadier General Dr Ahmed Saeed Al Naour, Director General of the General Department of Central Operations, Professor Eid Kanaan, Dean of Student Affairs at the University of Sharjah, and department directors from the General Department of Central Operations, as well as representatives from various Sharjah Police departments, attended the lab.
In his talk, Al Naour emphasised the importance of organising innovation labs, which are one of the axes of the development agenda to enhance police security work, and a fertile environment that stimulates creativity in proposing innovative ideas and fruitful solutions in order to improve the efficiency of the contact centre (901), contribute to meeting customer needs, and make customers satisfied.
He continued, "Today we are shedding light on the most important direct link between the Sharjah Police and the community members, and we emphasise the importance of sustainability in developing systems and the customer experience in obtaining the best service with efficiency and high quality that enhances the police system as a whole."
The innovation lab included a discussion of the most prominent challenges related to the contact centre 901 and how to overcome them by developing plans and implementing development initiatives and projects to address these challenges, as well as finding proactive, sustainable, innovative solutions to achieve the highest levels of service and make customers happy.
At the end of the lab, the Director General of Central Operations recognised all participating departments, applauding the ideas and solutions offered to improve operations and increase services in order to improve the quality of life and happiness of the UAE community.
