4th SIYBC to launch its activities on December 27th

Sharjah24: The 4th Sharjah International Youth Basketball Championship (SIYBC) is scheduled to begin on December 27th, featuring the participation of 34 teams and more than 450 players. The announcement was made by His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, during a press conference held at the Rabi Tower Square in Khorfakkan.

The conference, attended by sports officials and representatives of various clubs, shared information about the upcoming tournament, scheduled to take place from December 27th to December 30th. His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami highlighted the importance of the championship for sporting events in the eastern region, particularly in Sharjah, and its contribution to promoting the region's abundant tourist attractions.

The upcoming 4th edition of the Championship is set to showcase the skills of young athletes, with participants ranging from under the age of 12, 14, and 16. A total of 34 teams from 7 countries will be taking part in this exciting event. The Championship will also include coaching, administrative, and refereeing staff, as well as media representatives.

The Championship's competitions, which will take place over four days, will be held at a range of venues, including Khorfakkan Sports Club, Khorfakkan Disabled Club, Sharjah Women's Sports Foundation in the Eastern Region, and Ittihad Kalba Sports and Cultural Club.
