The camp included daily training sessions under the supervision of foreign coaches, alongside the national coaching staff and team sports experts from the Sports Affairs and Development Department of the Sharjah Sports Council, in addition to several friendly matches against Turkish teams.
Mohammed Obaid Al Hosani, Director of the Sports Affairs and Development Department at the Council, praised the camp, considering it to have achieved its intended goals by providing the players with the opportunity to train with foreign experts, play friendly matches in the three sports against international schools, and exchange skills and experiences.
He noted that the commitment of the players, their great enthusiasm in training, and their eagerness to make the most of the camp were all factors that contributed to its success. This, he added, will have a positive impact on the players’ performance with their clubs in the upcoming season.
He concluded: “We thank the coaches and administrators who took part in the camp, as well as the clubs that were keen to follow up on their players. This reflects the integration of roles with the Council and has led to the achievement of the desired objectives and anticipated benefits.”
