Sharjah24: His Excellency Major General Saif Al-Zari Al-Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, took part in the inaugural "First Partners Championship" organised by the Airport Police division under the management of Ports and Airports Police Department. The event unfolded yesterday evening at the Police Officers Club, featuring the involvement of internal partners like Sharjah International Airport Authority, Airport Passport Department, Sharjah Aviation Services, and Air Arabia. The championship's objective was to boost the well-being of airport partners, urging them to adopt sports as a lifestyle choice.
Major General Saif Al-Zari Al-Shamsi underscored the significance of organising events, particularly sporting ones, with partners, emphasising their vital role in fostering tolerance and brotherly solidarity among the leadership and its collaborators. Sports engagement is seen as a key to happiness, leaving a positive impact on both physical and mental health. It also contributes to instilling a spirit of competition and challenge, a quality they aim to solidify within their strategic partners.
The championship was marked by competitive and amicable atmospheres as participating teams vied in activities such as football, padel tennis, and a 3200-meter race. The Airport Police team emerged triumphant in the championship.
