SP welcomes a delegation from its counterpart in RAK

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Police General Command (SPGC) received a delegation from the Ras Al Khaimah Penal and Correctional Institution, headed by Colonel Ali Saeed Obaid Bin Matar Imbasi, Deputy Director of the Institution, along with the accompanying delegation.
They were warmly welcomed by Colonel Abdullah Al Ghazal, Head of the Correction and Rehabilitation Department, and Colonel Abdulrahman Salem Sahouh, Head of the Security Department, along with several specialised officers from both sides.

During the visit, both parties discussed matters of mutual interest, sharing their expertise in the field of penal and correctional services.

Colonel Abdullah Al Ghazal extended a warm welcome to the visiting delegation, expressing his appreciation for the productive collaboration and effective communication between Sharjah Police and its counterparts in Ras Al Khaimah.  

He stressed the significance of these visits, which promote the sharing of expertise and knowledge, underscoring their role in bolstering collaborative endeavours, contributing to achieving the desired goals of the Ministry of Interior in enhancing the quality of life for the UAE community.
The visit aimed to strengthen the cooperation between the two leaderships in the area of inmate rehabilitation and reintegration. This is in line with the advancement of shared objectives and the sharing of successful strategies in the identical field.  Furthermore, it offered a chance to gain insights into the effective strategies utilised in the security system.

During the visit, the delegation also toured the Institution’s various departments, aiming to improve the services offered to inmates.

Upon concluding their visit, the delegation conveyed their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Sharjah Police for the warm reception they received. They have further highlighted the significance of maintaining ongoing communication between the two parties to bolster and improve police security work.
