Sharjah24: His Excellency Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police recently honoured journalist Afkar Ali Ahmed for her outstanding contributions and collaboration with Sharjah Police during her time at a foreign media outlet in the country.
The ceremony was attended by Colonel Mohammed Al Dhuhouri, Head of the Public Relations Department, Major Ahmed Hamad Al Hamadi, Director of the Press and Publications Branch at Sharjah Police, and the editorial team of the Media Department, including Maryam Aljneibi and Hessa Al Shihi.
His Excellency Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi expressed his gratitude and appreciation to journalist Afkar Ali, highlighting the importance of recognising those who work alongside Sharjah Police and tirelessly carry out their responsibilities in different areas. He added that their efforts greatly contribute to strengthening the security system within society. Al Zari Al Shamsi has further expressed his well wishes for her ongoing success in her journalism career , serving the nation.
On her part, the honoured journalist expressed her heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the kind gesture from Sharjah Police, while extending her best wishes for their ongoing efforts in bolstering security and safety in the Emirate.
