Sharjah 24: Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas Authority (SEWA) has finished the 11/33 kilovolt Al Haray3 distribution station in the Al Haray region of Khofakkan, using cutting-edge technology and rigorous safety protocols. The total cost of the project, including network electrical connections, was 25 million dirhams. All procedures and testing at the experimental station were successful.
According to Engineer Ahmed Al Mulla, Director of Khorfakkan Department at Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas Authority, the authority is constantly working to implement development projects in Khorfakkan to meet the current and future needs of citizens and residents of electricity, water, and gas within the highest specifications and with sustainability in all regions of the Emirate of Sharjah. This is in accordance with His Highness's directives, Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

He verified that the new station is an addition to the already linked stations in Khorfakkan, increasing the total number of stations distributing electricity at 11/33 kilovolts to 14.

He also mentioned that the Al Haray electrical network is being built out in stages, with the first phase focusing on residential areas and government housing, the second phase focusing on commercial and industrial areas, and the third phase involving the settlement of land by government agencies in order to extend the network.
