SEWA organises "Hour of Rationalization Forum" in Khorfakkan

Sharjah24: Engineer Ahmed Al Mulla, Director of the Khorfakkan Department of the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) , confirmed that the authority has completed and implemented a huge developmental projects in the energy supply sector and water and gas networks in various regions of Khorfakkan, to keep pace with the growing renaissance in the city.
The Khorfakkan administration of the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority organized, on Wednesday, the “Rationalization Hour Forum 2023”, in the presence of Engineer Ahmed Al Mulla, Director of the Department, His Excellency Dr. Rashid Khamis Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Municipal Council of Khorfakkan, Eng. Fawzia Al-Qadi, Director of the Municipality, and a number of directors and representatives of government departments in the city.

Eng. Ahmed Al Mulla, Director of Khorfakkan Department at Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority, affirmed that the forum aims to enhance community awareness of the need to rationalize energy and water consumption during the peak hour, which starts in July from 2:30 until 3:30 in the afternoon.


He noted that this year's event included an exhibition to display the authority's most notable completed and continuing projects in Khorfakkan as well as the fundamentals of its work in the power, water, and gas sectors.

Al Mulla revealed the implementation of a number of projects including the water delivery project for the Shis area, and the completion of the Al-Harai power station (33), which serves its residential, industrial and commercial areas, while work is underway to connect the water to Al Suhub Rest Area, and to change the electricity network in Khorfakkan. He affirmed that the water network has also been renewed in Al-Mudifi and Al-Yarmouk regions while the network will be renewed in Al-Musalla area.
