Sharjah24: The Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) has completed implementing the natural gas network extension project for the Al Harai area in Khorfakkan, with a more than 17 km length, to 400 homes.
Engineer Khaled Al Hosani, Director of the Natural Gas Office in Eastern Region's SEWA, explained that implementing the thermal project was carried out according to the best specifications. The speed was taken into account for the region's residents to benefit from the natural gas service in the residences.
He added that the necessary procedures had been facilitated to enable beneficiaries to benefit from the services of the natural gas network, pointing out that the authority's strategic plan includes continuing to implement natural gas projects in all regions of the Eastern Region, whether in the commercial, industrial or residential sectors.
He stressed that the natural gas project reflects the authority's commitment to preserving the environment and encouraging the residents to use natural gas as an alternative fuel to take advantage of the multiple benefits it achieves compared to using liquefied gas "cylinders" in addition to its competitive prices compared to liquefied gas.
