Sharjah 24: The General Secretariat of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA) in Sharjah organised a lecture entitled "An Hour of Safety" at the council’s theatre on Thursday corresponding to June 1, in cooperation with the Sharjah Police (SP)’s Criminal Investigation Department aimed at raising awareness on safety.
The lecture included several axes, including cybercrime, ways of prevention, and introducing Najeed service.
First Lieutenant Dr. Asheba Al Ketbi and First Sergeant Sheikha Abdulkarim Al Balushi delivered the lecture, in the presence of Her Excellency Dr. Khawla Abdulrahman Al Mulla, Chairperson of the Sharjah Family Affairs Authority, and a number of female directors and employees of the council.
The event witnessed a discussion about cybercrime, and presented several methods that can be followed to protect against it and avoid becoming victims of it.
The event also shed light on the methods of using artificial intelligence in cybercrime, and the need to inform the public about it so that they can take all means of protection from it.
