Sharjah 24: In keeping with the festival's theme, "Shaping Minds," the Cultural and Media Office of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah took part in the activities of the fourteenth annual Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival (SCRF), held at the Sharjah Expo Centre by the Sharjah Book Authority.
Workshops were offered by the office with the goal of inspiring a lifelong love of reading in young people. Dr. Zakia Al-Sarraf from the office led workshops focused on children and the development of their language skills.
The first two workshops, "Travel Bag" and "Complete the Story," are designed to improve children's language skills, while "Turning Book" fosters a lifelong appreciation for literature and simplifies the process of creating a book.
