Sharjah24: The Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA) in Sharjah participated in the Arab Family Forum under the theme "Sustainability of Arab Family Role in Community Development." The forum was organised jointly by the "Arab Family Organisation for Development," the "General Union of Arab Experts," and the "Arab Union for Sustainable Development and Environment", being hosted by the General Secretariat of the Arab League in Cairo.
Both Salha Obaid Ghabish, Chairperson of the Cultural and Media Office at the Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA) in Sharjah, and Her Excellency Khawla Al Mulla, Secretary-General of the SCFA, attended the cultural event.
Commenting on this, Dr. Khawla Al Mulla gave a presentation during which she highlighted the importance of family cohesion, shedding light on exerting all efforts aimed at strengthening and protecting the family.
For her part, Ghabish spoke about the Council's establishment and its function in increasing the family's educational and parental duties in different areas. She also emphasised the Council's awareness initiatives, through various workshops and media, to promote the role of the family. She has urged to establish a facility named “ Arab Center for Family Media”,
urge the creation of a facility named the Arab Center for Family Media, aims to organise the media work of families.
