Khaled Al Qasimi: 6th Sharjah Master's Chess heats up competition

Sharjah 24: According to Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Cultural Chess Club, the upcoming 6th Sharjah Masters International Chess Championship will feature fierce competition between players from 60 countries, 95 senior international masters, and a prize pool of $60,000.
In remarks to "Sharjah 24," Al Qasimi detailed the three categories that make up the tournament. The first is for the top players, the second is for those lower in the classification, and the third is for the upcoming generation of players.
