Sharjah24: His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Humaid Al Qasimi, First Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Cultural Club honoured the winners of the 06 Sharjah Mall Championship, which lasted from 24 - 26 February, inside the 06 Mall in Sharjah, in cooperation with the Sharjah Cultural Chess Club (SCCC) and the Sharjah International Chess Academy.
The closing ceremony was attended by Omar Noman Al Ali, the Club's Assistant Secretary-General and Executive Director, Ragai Noman Al-Sousi, and Nader Kachtouli, the Manager of 06 Mall.
The Championship witnessed the participation of 300 players from 20 different nationalities in four categories.
The 06 Mall Chess Championship 2023 aims to encourage families of players and visitors of 06 Mall to get acquainted with the game of chess and spend entertaining times amid a positive atmosphere.
