As part of its event series, the campaign held its fifth grand raffle draw on Thursday at Sahara Centre, attracting wide participation from shoppers and families. The draw awarded 10 lucky winners from various nationalities with gold bars and shopping vouchers, adding further excitement to the season.
With more than 1,000 retail outlets and entertainment destinations involved, the campaign brings festive energy to the emirate through an expansive programme of entertainment and promotional activities that appeal to both residents and tourists.
This year’s shopping festival features discounts of up to 75% on a wide range of products and international brands. Additionally, it includes over 75 entertainment activities across shopping malls and retail centres, alongside 35 hotel packages offered by 23 top hotels in Sharjah.
The ongoing success of Sharjah Summer Promotions is credited to the strong strategic partnership between the organising bodies. The campaign blends shopping, entertainment, and tourism to enhance Sharjah’s status as a premier summer and family destination in the region.
His Excellency Abdul Aziz Al Shamsi, Assistant Director-General for Communication and Business Sector at SCCI, stated that the high engagement in the campaign’s fifth raffle reflects its success. He attributed the impact to a strong partnership between the private sector and consumers, supported by the active participation of over 1,000 outlets.
He added that the effort aligns with the Sharjah Chamber’s strategic vision to position retail seasons as drivers of economic growth and sustainable development in the retail and tourism sectors.
Aisha Saleh, Director of the Festivals and Promotions Department at SCCI, highlighted that the 2025 edition aims to enhance visitor experience through a joyful and festive atmosphere at participating venues. She emphasised that the weekly raffles have become a family favourite, with winners from diverse nationalities, underscoring Sharjah’s cosmopolitan appeal.
As the campaign nears its end, attention shifts to the final grand raffle draw set for September 1, concluding the 60-day retail festival. So far, the event has awarded 60 winners with valuable prizes, while offering substantial discounts and boosting the emirate’s vibrant retail and tourism landscape.
The final raffle promises additional gold bars, shopping vouchers, and luxury gifts, with participating malls offering instant rewards to further delight shoppers. The closing days are expected to transform into a festive carnival, celebrating the remarkable success of Sharjah Summer Promotions 2025.
