SDPW begins maintenance works for monuments, fountains in Sharjah

The maintenance works includes a comprehensive developmental maintenance for 89 fountains and 10 memorials in the parks and squares in the emirate and 4 waterfalls, in addition to maintenance work in the Aquarium Museum with the aim of preserving the city's appearance and beauty.

SDPW evaluated a number of contracts under the supervision of a specialized committee from the department to implement the maintenance work . In this context,  Eng. Hadef Al-Khidr, Deputy Director of the Building Maintenance Department, indicated that the department will start maintenance and development work for 89 fountains and 19 memorials, and the works include mechanical and electrical services, pointing out that memorials are cultural landmarks that hold the spirit of art and transmit the history of the place.
