Sharjah24: The Sharjah Directorate of Public Works (SDPW), with a delegation from the University of Sharjah (UOS) represented by the College of Architecture and Interior Design, reviewed ways to enhance cooperation between the two parties, aiming to serve the community and enhance the progress in the emirate, reviewing the standards required for an engineering competition, which will be announced soon.
The meeting was held in the presence of Eng. Bashayer Al Mansoori, Director of the Kalba Branch in the Directorate, and a number of engineering staff from the Directorate, with Dr. Imad Mushtaha, Head of the Architectural Engineering Department at the University of Sharjah, accompanied by a number of faculty members.
At the beginning of the meeting, Al Mansouri delivered an introductory speech, in which she welcomed the attendees, expressing her happiness with the cooperating with the University of Sharjah, especially with the interest of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and the follow-up of Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University. She has further affirmed the Directorate's keenness to adopt more fruitful cooperation with various academic bodies and institutions, shedding light on its endeavor to organise competitions and various events with the aim of developing creative thinking among students.
