Sharjah24: As part of its activities during the UAE Innovation Month, the Innovation and Proposals Team at the Sharjah Department of Public Works held a session to discuss creative initiatives to attract innovative ideas and proposals that benefit society members and expand opportunities to benefit from outer knowledge.

Eng. Hind Nasser, Director of the Strategic Planning and Quality Center, indicated that the department seeks to enhance the content and develop innovative experiences and ideas, especially since innovation is one of the six values on which the department's strategic plan is based.

The session included a discussion of several main axes, including success stories in the achieved innovative ideas, foreseeing the future of the proposals committee, strengthening the role of the youth council committee, creative ideas for business development, and how innovation can be made continuous.

Amani Ali, Head of the Training and Employment Department at the Human and Financial Resources Department, confirmed that the UAE Innovation Month reflects the UAE's tendencies to promote a culture of innovation in society, and to prepare a generation of innovators capable of making change in human life and its future.
