Sharjah24: Sharjah 24: During the holy month of Ramadan, Dr. Adil Sajwani, Family Medicine Specialist Doctor, presents his health programme "Your Doctor in Ramadan", which broadcasts at 5 PM on “Sharjah 24”.
In the seventh episode of "Your Doctor in Ramadan", Dr. Adel Al Sajwani spoke about thirst in Ramadan.
Dr. Adil said: "A person must be thirsty in the month of Ramadan as it is part of fasting, but there are things that may reduce the feeling of thirst in the month of Ramadan, including drinking a good amount of fluids between breakfast and suhoor, which is moderate and intermittent, and completely avoiding foods that expel water.
The doctor stressed the need to eat a lot of food that locks up water, such as fruits and others.
