College of Arts at AQU appoints Al Musallam as president

Sharjah24: The members of the Advisory Council of the College of Arts and Humanities at Al Qasimia University (AQU), in the first meeting held Thursday at the university’s headquarters in Sharjah, recommended and appointed His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al Musallam, Chairman of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage.
The Advisory Council of the College of Arts and Humanities will begin its duties in the academic year 2021-2022, in order to enhance the efforts of the College within the framework of the work system of Al Qasimia University.

The advisory board includes His Excellency Dr. Salem Zayed Al Tunaiji, Head of the Arabic Language Requirements Department - Higher Colleges of Technology, and His Excellency the poet Abdullah Al Hadiya, editor-in-chief of Al Nadba magazine.

At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Awad Al Khalaf, Acting Director of Al Qasimia University, welcomed the members of the Advisory Council, indicating the keenness of Al Qasimia University to attract societal elements working to enhance its goals in developing the relationship with the outside community.
