AQU publishes 6th issue of Manarat Al Qasimia

Sharjah 24: Al Qasimia University (AQU) published the sixth issue of its cultural magasine (Manarat Al Qasimia), which monitors the most prominent activities of the university and the academic developments. The lastest issue tackles topics that highlight the academic mission of the university and relations with the community, as well as news, activities and events that express the pioneering role and leading position in achieving the quality of scientific research and the excellence of its educational outputs.
The issue tackled many topics and distinguished meetings, under the general supervision of His Excellency Prof. Awad Al-Khalaf, Acting President of Al-Qasimia University, who wrote an editorial entitled (Al Qasimia University is a global beacon).

The editorial stated that Al Qasimia University is still a young university but achieved a remarkable and distinguished presence at the local, regional and global levels; with the vision of its founder, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah and president of Al Qasimia University, which turned it into a beacon with promising achievements reflecting the university vision, message and tolerance of culture.

The issue also included the most prominent activities of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, and his interest in culture and science, in addition to His Highness' adoption of the strategic plan of Al Qasimia University 2020-2025.

One of the distinguished topics is the issue is the personality of the issue, which sheds light on an important part of the life of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, entitled a “Continuous success in media, development and construction”.

The main article was devoted to tackle the professional and scientific status achieved by Al Qasimia University graduates in a number of international positions and their roles in serving their countries.

The issue contained many diverse topics such as the “Dialogue of the Issue” included a meeting with Muhammad Ahmed Al Mulla, Secretary General of the Sharjah Education Council.

In a special coverage, Salha Ghabish, Cultural Adviser at the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, sheds light on the role of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Muhammad Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, President of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, and her role in many humanitarian endeavours, charity, family development, empowerment of women and child, and her interest in the cultural heritage.

The issue highlighted the contributions of the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park and its position as a global research and development hub.
