AQU’s Advisory Council holds 1st meeting for 2021-2022

Sharjah24: The Advisory Council of Al Qasimia University held its first meeting for the academic year 2021-2022 in the presence of His Excellency Prof. Dr Awad Al-Khalaf, Acting Director of Al Qasimia University (AQU) and Professor Hassan Al-Malakh, Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs, discussing a number of academic issues.
At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Dr Awad Al-Khalaf welcomed the members of the Advisory Council, which includes the Vice President for Academic Affairs, deans, representatives of faculty members, and representatives of students of the various faculties of the university, wishing a successful academic year.

He has further reviewed the AQU’s most prominent achievements, in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah and president of Al Qasimia University. He has stressed the University’s keenness and constant efforts to continue its progress and success which contributes in placing the University as one of the well-known universities at all levels.

Al-Khalaf stressed that the University continues to provide full scholarships for students from outside the country from various countries of the world.

In turn, Professor Hassan Al-Malakh, Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs explained that the University is continuing its progress towards achieving further accomplishments, at different academic levels, through adopting various programs and plans that ensure the University’s constant successes.

At the end of the meeting, the representatives of the students expressed their thanks to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah and president of Al Qasimia University, lauding his continued care and his keenness to ensure their safety, especially during the pandemic.
