Sharjah24: Within the framework of the activities of the Deanship of Student Affairs for the academic year 2021/2022, Al Qasimia University (AQU) organised a lecture targeting the students, aiming to raise their awareness about the intellectual deviation and the deviant ideology, educating them about its risks , as well as briefing them on ways of prevention and treatment. This comes in line with the AQU’s goal to raise students’ awareness towards various issues.
This came during a lecture delivered by His Excellency Dr. Salim Al Doubi, Member of the University's Board of Trustees, Member of the Emirates Council of Sharia Fatwas, Head of the preaching section in the Department of Islamic Affairs in Sharjah, which dealt with the concept of intellectual deviation, its causes and prevention.
Dr. Salim Al Doubi has expressed his keenness to highlight this topic, shedding light on the most important intellectual issues that may spread among the students, contributing in raising their awareness and correcting their concepts in this regard. He also stressed the risks of intellectual deviation, underscoring its causes and negative effects on the individual and society. He has further introduced various ways to help students to promote their full awareness about intellectual deviation.
