Sharjah24: The Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Qasimia University (AQU) organised in-person ceremony, during which the University welcomed students joining the University’s fall semester for the 2021/2022 academic year. The ceremony was held Thursday at the University's Grand Theater, in light of the gradual return of study on campus, with taking all the precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the "Covid-19" virus.
During the ceremony, the AQU welcomed students, expressing wished for further successes during their educational journey in the University.
The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Awad Al Khalaf, Acting Director of Al Qasimia University (AQU), in the presence of several other dignitaries, deans of colleges, professors, and a number of administrative cadres.
Commenting on this, Prof. Dr. Awad Al Khalaf, Acting Director of Al Qasimia University (AQU) delivered a speech in which he welcomed the new students and wished them a great and successful educational journey in Al Qasimia University’s five faculties.
He reviewed the capabilities and the advanced educational environment available at the University, stressing on the AQU’s goal to qualify the students and ensuring them to gain knowledge and experience throughout their studying in the University.
During the ceremony, being held with various activities, Prof. Dr. Suleiman Al-Sarayrah, Dean of Student Affairs, gave a speech in which he renewed welcoming the new students studying at the university's faculties, calling on them to benefit from the professors' experiences, educational facilities and activities.
