Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Department of Public Works (SDPW), represented by the Strategic Planning and Quality Centre, is organising a series of events and interactive programmes this week under the “Values Ambassadors” initiative.

The initiative aims to embed corporate values into daily workplace practices and transform them into behaviours that enhance performance and create a sustainable organisational impact.

Focus on six core values

The events include workshops and practical activities centered on the Department’s six corporate values: Integration, Proactivity, Competitiveness, Professionalism, Innovation, and Transparency.

The activities seek to raise employee awareness of these values and highlight their role in supporting organizational operations and achieving shared goals.

Interactive workshop

As part of the programme, the Centre organised a workshop titled “Living Our Values... Creating Our Impact,” presented by Dr Kholoud Al-Tunaiji.

The workshop focused on strengthening employees’ understanding of corporate values and connecting them to everyday workplace practices and behaviours.

Through interactive activities and practical exercises, employees explored ways to turn these values into tangible actions that improve performance and work quality.

Supporting institutional excellence

The Centre said the workshop is part of a wider series of development programmes designed to empower employees and foster a workplace culture based on collaboration, innovation, commitment, and transparency.

The initiative supports SDPW’s vision of achieving sustainable leadership in Sharjah’s urban development, promoting institutional excellence, and creating a lasting positive impact.
