The workshop not only focused on the theoretical way of teaching but also presented practical guidance on protecting online accounts and personal data, spotting the light on the importance of keeping passwords secure and not sharing them with others. Participants were also advised to exercise caution when dealing with suspicious links and emails, avoid responding to messages from unknown sources and refrain from sharing personal information with untrusted parties.

The workshop witnessed strong engagement from participants, who learned practical measures to reduce cyber risks and improve their protection while using smart devices, applications and social media platforms, helping them develop more responsible digital behaviour.

The workshop is part of Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club's efforts to diversify the programmes and activities offered through the Our Holiday is Different 2026 initiative, combining sports, educational and awareness activities to provide children and young people with a safe and stimulating environment during the summer break while developing their skills, strengthening their character and broadening their knowledge.

Through such initiatives, the club seeks to address issues that matter to children and young people, particularly digital security, by promoting the safe and positive use of modern technology and reinforcing awareness of digital responsibility. The initiative also supports community partnerships with specialised institutions, benefiting from their expertise in delivering purposeful awareness programmes.
