The announcement was made in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Dr Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Office of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, and Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director General of the Sharjah Digital Authority. The platform was revealed by His Excellency Sultan Mohammed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Department of Municipal Affairs.
Developed in collaboration with the Sharjah Digital Authority and various government entities, the initiative reflects the emirate’s ongoing efforts to integrate technology across public services.
The "Nabni" platform is designed to connect municipal systems and streamline the entire building permit process—from application to completion certificates. By leveraging artificial intelligence, the platform aims to enhance efficiency, transparency, and user experience for contractors, developers, and the public.
His Excellency Al Ketbi shared with “Sharjah 24” that a significant portion of the platform has already been completed, and it will be officially launched soon. He thanked the project team for their dedication in turning the department’s vision into reality and emphasised the positive impact the platform will have on improving construction services in the emirate.
