Sharjah 24: As part of its ongoing commitment to follow up on development and service projects that meet community needs, the Dibba Al Hisn Municipal Council conducted a field visit to inspect progress on two vital projects: the university bus parking and the Eid prayer area.

Enhancing infrastructure and transport services

The project, currently being implemented by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), aims to improve transportation services and public facilities in Dibba Al Hisn. These developments are designed to support residents, students, and the wider community, aligning with the Emirate of Sharjah’s vision for infrastructure development and enhanced quality of life.

Leadership and stakeholder engagement

The visit was led by His Excellency Ahmed Abdullah bin Ya'rouf, Chairman of the Dibba Al Hisn Municipal Council, along with members of the Council’s Traffic, Ports, and Public Facilities Committee. Also present were Ibrahim Ahmed, Deputy Director of the Branches Department at the RTA, representatives from the Department of Islamic Affairs in Dibba Al Hisn, and the contracting company overseeing the project.

Focus on progress and community needs

During the tour, participants reviewed the current progress and upcoming stages of implementation. Emphasis was placed on the strategic importance of the project in meeting the transportation and worship needs of residents, particularly students, while contributing to the city's long-term development goals.
